Access to files of an older XP installation - Help needed
This sounds like the solution to my problem with moving the Documents and Settings folder from drive C: to D: on Windows XP Home Edition SP1. .... while windows is not running, and have software to enable access to those files prior to the windows GUI booting up. I have no idea if you could get that to work or not.

Domain Name resolution or IIS Settings problem
My file path to my documents folder is My Computer / Local disk / Documents & Settings / My User Name / My Documents. If you do it now when you try to access a moved file you will have to browse for it in your media software, so then you save it in the new location. It will always open the file from that file path
